Who We Are!
Simon & Simone are a singer/songwriting duo, one of whom is a purple puppet!
They sing original songs that are fun, playful, emotional, and sometimes address real-life concerns for young people all over.
They have been entertaining audiences of all ages since 2018, playing whimsical songs about Popcorn, Clouds, Dreams & Bees, but also songs about the importance of health (Move Yer’ Body, Move Yer’ Feet!) or the longing for friends and family, (Far Far Away.)
In addition to playing live events and parties, they host educational workshops, teaching music to young minds.
They recently completed Season 2 of their YouTube channel kids show, collaborated on a production of Dicken’s A Christmas Carol with the New York Gaint Theater Company, and look forward to the release of their first album in 2021, which will feature over 14 of their most popular songs.

Simon & Simone was created by Jeff LaGreca and Suzanne Slade, theater professionals, who are both writers, actors, singers, directors, puppeteers and teaching artists.
They possess a wealth of experience in Arts Education with past and current work including Broadway Classroom, The 52nd Street Project, CentreStage (Queens Theater in the Park), YADA, (Youth Academy of Dramatic Arts), Swallow Hill Arts Center, (APA) Academy of Performing Arts, (DPAC) Downtown Performing Arts Academy, The Arvada Center for The Arts and more.
The Simon & Simone YouTube show began a few weeks into the pandemic of 2020. It was a way to share music, creativity and hope with friends and their small children. The mission is to ignite young minds and imaginations, and encourage them to express themselves in a positive, creative way.
With live original music and fun activities, it was designed to inspire young viewers to occupy their time productively by utilizing resources available to them in their immediate surroundings. Dream. Imagine. Explore. Create.
